Brief description
of the Project: |
The CSI has provided funding support to HKDEA to launch a 3-year Support Scheme to nurture new talents in animation, comic, digital game and post production and visual effect fields of the digital entertainment sector. A total of 60 graduates (i.e. 20 graduates per year in 2011, 2012 and 2013 respectively) would be recruited. Graduates of 2010 – 2013 in related disciplines of tertiary institutes without full time experience in the above fields will be eligible to join. Local digital entertainment companies would provide a one-year full-time employment and on-the-job training for the graduate trainees. Equipment (i.e. computers with necessary software installed) would be borrowed to the graduate trainees for use in the employer companies for 1 year. The graduate trainees would be required to submit a report showing their works produced every 6 months.
