Brief description
of the Project: |
The CSI has provided funding support to HKCAF to establish an “Avenue of Comic Stars” (Comics Avenue) in Kowloon Park to display the figurines of Hong Kong comics characters and symbols of selected comics artists, with the aims to foster the creative atmosphere in the community, promote HK comics to the Mainland and overseas, and expand the market of HK comics. In addition, an interactive guided mobile app will be developed to facilitate visitors in better understanding the exhibits at the Comics Avenue, and a series of activities will be organized :
- Launching Ceremony of the Comics Avenue
- Annual Ceremonies in 2013 and 2014
- Guided Tours for students and tourists
