Brief description
of the Project: |
The CSI has provided funding support to Hong Kong Arts Centre to launch “Hong Kong Short Film : New Action Express 2012/2013” specifically for local short films of not more than 60 minutes in the areas of drama, documentary, animation and experimental by -
- Sponsoring the submission of selected local major award-winning short films to selected major international short film festivals/ competitions; and
- Subsidising the travel expenses and festival participation fee of the filmmakers of local short films which have been officially invited by any of the selected major international short films festivals/ competitions for attending the festival and/or showing in a non-commercial public screening.
Hong Kong Arts Centre would also organize a one-day promotional event featuring training workshop on pitching new projects, screenings of sponsored short films, experience sharing forum and networking session.
