Hong Kong Publishing Biennial Awards 2019 – Last call for applications - New
Sponsored by CreateHK, the Hong Kong Publishing Biennial Awards 2019 calls for applications. DEADLINE: 31 January 2019.
 
The Hong Kong Publishing Biennial Awards project aims to recognise Hong Kong’s outstanding Chinese publications. Its award presentation ceremony will be held in July 2019 during the Hong Kong Book Fair, followed by roving exhibitions for awarded entries at the Hong Kong Book Fair, local libraries and bookstores from July to December.

Redress Design Award 2019 – Calls for applications - New

The Redress Design Award is a sustainable fashion design competition that aims to educate emerging fashion designers about sustainable design theories and techniques in order to drive growth towards a circular fashion system.
 
Hong Kong Smart Design Awards 2019 – Calls for applications - New
Sponsored by CreateHK, the Hong Kong Smart Design Awards (HKSDA) 2019 calls for applications. DEADLINE: 22 February 2019.
 
The HKSDA aims to recognise ODM (original design manufacturer) and OBM (original brand manufacturer) and build Hong Kong as a design product sourcing hub in Asia.
 
The winning entries of its 2018 edition are showcased at the Trade and Industry Tower until 30 April 2019.  FREE admission.
 
Design Trust Futures Studio 2018 – Exhibition on conceptual micro-park until 29 January
Sponsored by CreateHK, the Design Trust Futures Studio 2018 organises an exhibition to present designs on the conceptual micro-park until 29 January 2019.  FREE admission.
 
The project aims to realise four practical yet playful micro-parks in four different locations in Hong Kong through a mentor-mentee programme.

The Hong Kong Avenue of Comic Stars is located at the Kowloon Park in Tsim Sha Tsui, with 30 sculptures of local comics characters and bronze handprints of 10 distinguished local comics artists. Opens for FREE visit.
